One of the things that lets most pubs down is that the food is not freshly cooked: you could not say that of the Orchard at Galhampton. The food is very good - clean plates all round (!) and the service friendly and efficient. I...More

Lovely classic local building, friendly atmosphere and staff, delicious home-made food (specially pies). We found it by accident but definitely will come back.

Although the staff here are extremely welcoming and nice. The food just lets it down. I’m not one to usually complain but I didn’t eat the food!

Being our local pub we visit at least once a week. The food is amazing!! (Matt's chips are to die for ) Darren and staff are all very welcoming along with the log burners and comfy leather chesterfield sofas.

Great little pub in Galhampton, they have a good lunch menu with some great offers and an imaginative evening menu which both change regularly. Staff are great and the landlord Darren is an excellent host. Well worth a visit!

We visited The Orchard Inn on the recommendation of a friend, so glad we did! The staff were really friendly and more than happy to let our rather excitable, one year old labradoodle in! As the weather was so good, we sat in the garden...More

Excellent local pub, friendly and attentive staff. Would certainly recommend the chicken curry which was excellent. The prices were fair and the portions were generous. I truly could not fault this pub, will be returning again in the near future.

I have no idea why, unless it was not a bottle with a cork! Why not ask the Orchard to find the answer. Most wines now do not have a cork unless they are extremely expensive or pretentious!
