Loved the Dining Car. Our Dinner was a 10 plus. The grounds have many interesting old train cars and Engines. The excursion would be a great trip for the kids but dinner is better for adults.

It was OK. Definitely not worth the money though. Train ride was pretty, but nothing real special. We went through woods at about 3 mph. We brought the kids 2, 10 and 12. We were all sort of bored.

If your children are into railroads, you'll love this place and its surroundings. Located in the historic downtown it is a fun trip for all.

I love and ride trains wherever I find them. This one is on the road into town and is very easy to miss. It was a very pleasant ride nothing special but worth the admission

This was a thrilling experience. The whole experience was like nothing we've done before. Well worth the money and we will never forget the evening having dinner on the train.

First, it opens at 930am. It is outside and the cars are not air conditioned so we were glad we did the 1030 trip. The yard is cool and they let the kids climb and explore on the train. Which we loved. The conductor was very nice and a wealth of knowledge and odd things. The ride is mostly thur... More

We did the lunch train ride. It was reasonable priced. We had the chicken salad w/fruit. They served something to drink, a roll, our meal and then we had a dessert that was so good! If you like the dessert, don't forget to get the recipe in their gift shop. Copies are in a little rack at the checkout. Now,... More

There really is not much of a view. We took the excursion ride only. I don't know about the lunch or dinner trips. It is not expensive. You get what you pay for.

This ride should have been longer without stopping, and some attractions along route to truly represent travel by train during that period. But overall was enjoyable.

If you're looking for a long train ride, then this is not an excursion for you! If you are looking to spend a scenic dinner experience with fine food and company, then look no further! My hubby and I dined on the prime rib dinner and it was excellent! Our server was very attentive as was the Conductor. Dessert was... More
