Lovely restaurant in every sense. Gorgeous decoration, beautiful food and outstanding staff. My boyfriend and I dont usually have indian and this member of staff, a woman, guided us and explained all their dishes and favourites with a smile on her face throught the whole dinner. Food and cocktails were delicious. A bit pricey maybe but great overall. High Covid19 measures too which is a plus. We will be coming back for sure

We had two takeaways from here over Christmas and they were both delicious. The food was hot and tasty and the portions were generous. The staff were very helpful and friendly and whilst waiting for the food, the atmosphere in the bar was warm and relaxing. I can totally recommend this spot and I will be back!

First meal out after lockdown and it did not disappoint. The menu has changed which at first was a bit of a shock as our favourite starter had gone and there wasn’t as much choice in regards to curries however the prawn starter did not disappoint was excellent also was advised to get the lambs Chops as a main something I wouldn’t normally do at a curry house but this was a fantastic recommendation as it tasted un real. The service was fantastic as usual and the atmosphere was really good.

We ordered takeaway tonight on the app. We specifically stated on chefs note we wanted Rogan josh medium hot. After us collecting the order from the swords branch we sat down to our food and me and my children could not eat the Tikka marsala as it was too hot and the Rogan josh was normal not we had asked. The chef obviously got order mixed up. I proceeded to telephone them and state the above. Told him the disappointment and the guy did not apologise,only argued with me on the phone. I explained to him again what I had ordered and he said he would replace the 3 mains. Well I then had to wait another 20 min get in my car and travel to pick it up while the remainder of the order got cold at home ! When the replacement was picked up , no acknowledgement of error or apology for inconvenience. Very poor customer service! Then when we got home for the second time well to actually try and pawn what they gave us as tikka masala is a joke, I kept the dish if you would like me to drop it back !! . It was disgusting, no flavour at all. The rogan josh was the same as before. To say I am disgusted that I paid 45 euro for a meal that we barely ate. You should be ashamed of how you handled this situation. Before now I have always had pleasant experience both takeaway and in the restaurant but you have lost our custom going forward. I attach the receipt and the awful pale tikka marsala replacement the worst I have ever tasted in the the world !!!

My wife and I have been fans of this restaurant since it first opened some 20 years ago and chose to eat here for our first meal out following the Covid-19 lockdown. We’re sorry to say, it wasn’t a good experience!
First of all, the menu has changed dramatically. Gone are all of the wonderful curries we’ve so enjoyed in the past, replaced by a more limited and more expensive choice of meals. In the past, we were always offered poppadums and chutneys. Not this time! They’re not even on the menu! Unfortunately, as someone who can’t eat dairy products, there was nothing on the list of 5 “taste plates” (starters to you and me), I could choose. Then there’s the “share plates” from which we each chose a (main course) dish. They were ok but both fell short of our expectations based on past experiences.
As ever, the staff were very friendly and very efficient but we left disappointed.
My advice to the management - by all means offer new menu ideas but bring back the traditional curries (and the poppadums)!
I’m sorry to say, I doubt that we’ll be back!

This was one of my favourite restaurants pre lockdown but the new menu is a huge disappointment. Gone are most of the starters and traditional curries to be replaced with a more expensive and less enticing range of mains.
If this is a permanent change I don’t think I’ll be back.

Having been a regular customer in this restaurant since it opened we returned to it for our first Indian meal since the restaurant reopened.
The first thing we noticed was that the print on the new menus was so small it could not be read. The person on the table beside us was using his phone as a magnifying glass.
Secondly all the prices seem to have gone up and all of the old reliable Indian dishes that we enjoy were no longer on the menu. Our young daughter who loved the tikka masala on the old menu was dissapointed as the recipe has obviously changed and the dish tasted different. The variety on the menu has got alot smaller and the descriptions quite hard to understand. The food was fine but the quality does not reflect the prices. There are other restaurants not far away that have similar prices but their food is way ahead. Perhaps the restaurant has changed hands or something but it is not as good as it used to be.

if your looking for spicy food don’t go here , food very bland. Prices are extortionate for food and drinks priced extremely high . No pappadoms to start and atmosphere dull. Wouldn’t go back . It was a great restaurant but not any more

This used to be one of my favourite Indian restaurants… But after our last visit, I won’t be rushing back. This visit There was no complimentary poppadum’s I ordered the starter “Tulsi Prawn” Jumbo Prawns 5 of these arrives each about the size of a 2 euro coin definitely not jumbo prawns And had the nerve to charge nearly €15 the main arrived and the lamb was very chewy… end of the meal we’d always be offered a complimentary shot, not this time, It seems they might be cutting corners to try to save some money. But after our visit, I think we’ll be going to the D'Chilli Shaker from now on.

Booked a table on open table and the staff told us we couldn't come in. We showed them the reservation and they let us in. They were rude and obnoxious and rushed us. They insisted on serving starter and main course at the same time and wouldn't let us finish our drinks without hassling us. The food was good but I haven't been treated this rudely in Dublin before.

Not as good as it once was unfortunately. Saturday lunch used to be a good value treat but now its a "lunchbox" which is very odd. Small portions of food come in a tray plate - reminded me of a hospital. Please go back to norm starters and main course the way it used to be!!

Recently ordered Tikka Masala, Korma, Jalfrezi and Kadal Chicken.
Korma and the Tikka both poor dishes, just soup like sauce and chicken breast. Both the other dishes far better looking, but tasted like they were made with a gallon of curry paste.
Not enjoyable, won’t be ordering again, look elsewhere...

Five of my family went for lunch to indie spice you now get your meal served in a box. Yes no plates also all the portions are tiny. I ordered the prawn as a starter this is not a joke I received one prawn yes One

I've been to many Indian restaurants in the states and this was a nice change of pace. The menu was varied from what we usually see in the states. The flavors were great and the additional rice options were fantastic. We got the vegetarian rice to accompany our dishes and it far exceeds the plain white rice we always get in the states. My wife got the vegetarian sampler which was basically 5 small portions of the vegetarian sides. I sampled it as well and it was delicious. Service was great as well with many waiters working together.

The new menu is very exciting. It’s got a good few new dishes, and the old customers favourites in it too 😍 we ordered a delicious chicken tikka masala and a lobster neruli. The lobster dish came as a complete meal. Very happy.
