Top national park; one of the few in Ireland. Take the walk to the top of Diamond Hill. Not so difficult but use good walking shoes and do not have heart problems.

Really enjoyed the selection of buns and cakes. Beautiful setting, lovely food and friendly staff really added to my visit to the park.

Hi Joan, Firstly apologies for the delay in response, we are having an extremely busy and prosperous summer. I am very sorry to hear you had such a poor experience with us. I am also genuinely surprised as we have never been described as 'grubby'...More

Arrived here at 2pm to find nothing but soup and toasties. All food gone, little veggie choice anyway. Hundreds of tourists still arriving in coaches and cars. Cakes were NOT homemade and looked mass produced. I felt embarrassed that this was an example of Irish...More

It's a really nice place to stop for a tea or coffee after your hike through the national park, especially if the weather allows to sit outside

We visited the park on a cold rainy day and it was so nice to pop in to this cafe for coffee and a treat. We ate some delicious donuts :)

We had such high expectations for a tea room in such a beautiful setting and we were disappointed. The 'tea room' had no personality despite being surrounded by such natural beauty. The food is mediocre at best and the coffee is definitely not worth it!...More

Very sorry that you didn't enjoy your visit....however with regards to your comments the tea room does have some beautiful professionally taken photos of the local area framed on our walls for sale. And people are constantly telling how good our Coffees are.

Lovely little tea room, they also have a picnic room where you can eat your own food whatever the weather. Coffee was very good, nice big cups! I had a wrap with chicken, salad and chilli sauce. The wrap was toasted which was a first...More

Glad you enjoyed your lunch. Sorry about the lack of credit card facilities, unfortunately we have no phone line or WiFi in the tea rooms hence the no card machine.
