Great atmosphere in a tastefully restored building, with tapas available at bar downstairs. Comfortable restaurant, friendly staff and good service. Varied choice on menu with good selection of "specials" as well as regular a la carte. Definitely returning!

Having travelled half the length of the country from Limerick, it was a wonderful surprise to have such a beautiful lunch. The ambience and welcome was top class. The food was wonderful, I had Pate, followed by Pork Belly and a cheese board for desert. It was fantastic. Proper size portions of delightful tastes, well done chef. My wife had,... More

The wife and I ate here last week en route to Dublin. Arriving late, there was no issue with getting a table. We both had venison with vegetables. A beautiful dish and well presented. The decor is good and the service is professional, but friendly. The restaurant has built up a good reputation and it's not hard to see why.... More

Easily one of the best Sunday lunches we have ever had and we have travelled all over the world eating in some of the top restaurants! To our surprise, we found lots of good food in Ireland, even in smallish towns. The Courthouse was one of our favorite finds, with really inventive and excellent foods. The venison was delicious and the steak was maybe the best we had in the country. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely meal on Wednesday last. We had the early bird. Had not booked. The restaurant was very quiet. Enjoyed our visit save for the fact our modest gin and tonic cost 7.60 euros. The tonic was 2.80 euros alone.
