We were first in Juanito in the 1980's and when we returned to Andalucia with our grand daughter last fortnight we had to check the place together again. It is still the special place that it used to be. The decor and rooms have changed since then but the high quality of the kitchen remains the same. Traditional dishes prepared... More

A classic where we make a yearly visit. The kitchen at this place has a long story to tell. It is one of the places where you can get great traditional food prepared with time, quality ingredients and family recipes. Olive oil is at the heart of every dish. Service is excellent. Prices are on the high side

We stopped here for an early lunch on a recommendation from the tourist office. It is not in the city center but was on our way out of town back to Ubeda. We arrived at 1:30, asked if they were serving and immediately shown to a table. This is a lovely restaurant with very attractive artwork. We ordered drinks and... More

We had lunch here after a recommendation from a local The location is not so attractive, the dining room rather old fashioned and the food expensive for what you get

We made the trek to Juanito because of some positive reviews. It's by no means close to the old centre but the walk is OK. It's in a hotel with no outside dining. We got there early so had to wait 20 minutes in the lobby for the restaurant to open. There were not too many more options after commiting... More

We were unlucky to catch some cold, windy, showery weather in Baeza that was more like winter than spring. After spending a wet morning in Úbeda, when we we were disinclined to Iinger and further sample its delights, we decided to return to Baeza and have a long lunch. Restaurante Juanito is situated in the eponymous hotel in a rather... More

We had a delicious lunch here. It is a little outside of downtown but not difficult to find with a GPS. The artichoke dish was particularly tasty. We had the tasting menu and we enjoyed every course. If you find yourself in Baeza I would highly recommend this.

Very nice restaurant with great food. The staff friendly and helpful. all four of us ate goat leg. Fantastic well prepared and tasty. The wine Emilo Moro, amazing for its price. Unfortunately, only four of us in the restaurant, but with the bad times we have in Spain, it can become so. Most tourists are Spaniards, with 25% unemployment, it... More

I had a very memorable lunch at Juanito´s in the year 2001 and was looking forward to eating there again this March. I´m sorry to say that it was a bit of a disappointment. The prices were too high for many of the dishes and the menu seems to be much more limited than I remembered. The trout was well... More

Had lunch there yesterday after visiting Baeza on our way to Ubeda. We were late, but no problem for Juanito's, we ordered the 5 courses Degustacion menu for EUR 36 pp and what a treat & nice wine menu, the best dining experience we have ever had in Andalucia (although too quickly served after eachother) and guess what, it's no...
