Well, often in Spain, there is not much of a difference to eat in a more upscale restaurant (for $$) and a good decent local restaurant. It is the case for Mason de Andres, not bad but simply overprice. Stopped by for a quick bit...before meeting friends and family later. Had few drinks, took Jamon Racion and rabo de toro and stroganoff beef. Rabo de toro was good and generous, the stroganoff (serve with herbs rice i guess?) was ok, just floating too much in creme making difficult to know what is inside beside beef, but good also. So food was good, service was good, so what's wrong? The check, $125. So in some country, it is the price for 3 peoples with 1 app, 3 entrees and few drinks, but for Spain, it is a lot. I know local restaurant in Fuengirola (My wife is a local) where we been going for 25 years where you can eat as well for $60 (equal quality). If you like the classics, many places cheaper in town.More
