Found this by accident (just behind the old theatre) but returned twice as the food was 'real' and the service delightful. Food was Galician in style but we mingled with the locals & a few tourists and found it very comfortable. Our waitress spoke good english & had only been there a couple of weeks and she made such an... More

Dropped in here looking to rest after a long hike and grab a cold drink. Decided to have a dessert with our beer which freaked the waitress out a bit - crazy English, but she brought us big slabs of almond cake and raspberry cheesecake €7.50 for the two. Excellent value and gone in a flash. Overheard a couple eating... More

Traditional galician tapas bar. We visited on a saturday night and it got very busy, full of locals so a good sign. Food delicious but big portions so we ordered far too much! Still good value though. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The food was amazing i have never had such a tasty octopus it was just like if i was in Galicia. My cousin had clams meigas style and she fell in love with them she had three baskets of bread because the sauce was tasty, delicious and with a touch of spice and my mother had a traditional galician pie... Well, what can I say about Las Meigas. Was looking for somewhere different to eat and looked out of our apartment window and could see two restaurants. One was an italian. Back in Blighty these are 10 a penny and the other restaurant was Las Meigas. It was you old fashioned Taberna. I must say I was very impressed the... More

The restaurant we had intended to go to was closed, and that turned out to be very lucky for us! We wandered around and liked the look of Las Meigas from the outside, and decided to give it a try. The service was friendly, and the food was wonderful! One of the best tortillas I've ever had. Fabulous wine -... More

I have lived in Spain for 20 years and Las Meigas, for me is the best food in Fuengirola. The omelettes, the octopus Galician style and the Galician pie with tuna and onions is fantastic. Edgar, who runs the front of the restaurant is brilliant and nothing is too much trouble for him. Highly recommended. Stunning food and service!

The return of the Kings procession had been cold, and five of us were hungry so we looked for a restaurant that looked cozy and inviting. We were welcomed in. Las Meigas (the witches in northern Spanish) is a Galician style restaurant. Galicia is north west Spain and at times can get cold and wet, so the food is robust... More

This is the place to visit for tapas, they are out of this world. Edgar will always take time to explain the dishes to you. We always stop of in the afternoon for a selection of tapas and have never been disappointed yet. One thing you must try is a glass of the galician wine from the barrel to wash... More

Visited on a couple of occasions in the evening. Very good food and well priced. Specials certainly worth trying. Will visit again
