El Chipiron is located in the heart of the city! It has nice views of Barceloneta and the Port Vell marina. The restaurant is a good choice for small, medium and large groups that want to try some of the traditional Spanish food, like the Paella for example. Jesus, the manager of the restaurant, always ensure great customer service and... More

In peak hours, expect to wait in line, but it is worth it. Excellent sea food of all kinds, good atmosphere.

want you to find a tapas bar with 99% of Spaniards, then this is where you should go. Fresh and wonderful tapas-sized portions. All very good. Try their pil-pil, many large shrimp. Their Russian salad is wonderful. Lots of fresh fish and seafood dishes, all at affordable rates. Located behind the Policia National. Difficult to find but well worth trying.... More

Saturday afternoon and this restaurant was buzzing, although we had previously walked past in midweek and it was very quite - this place needs people in it to experience it at it's best, as it is otherwise too 'clinical and sterile'. Simple, well cooked seafood, at moderate prices and deserves the excellent reputation that it has.

I visited El Chiperon for lunch one day and made sure that I arrived at 1pm before the Locals take up all the seats. I was hoping to order baby squids and octopus in a light batter but the waiter told me that they do not offer such dishes which I found rather strange as it is a popular dish... More

Delicious fish, freshly cooked in this no frills restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. We went at 8:30 and it was quiet but by the time we left the locals were queing out of the door!

Since 2010 the best place for fish in Andaluz. Been there every year visiting one of three cities ( Benalmadena, Fuengirolla Torremolinos). Super nice staff and owner. Foodporn. Rosada ala plancha , pil pil gambas and many more. You can not miss it. Do not expect English menu or English speaking staff

Came here with family. Most of the dishes were fresh, except for the squid. The service is OK, but it tends to get busy by 9.30pm. Meal would have been great, save for the fact that Their coffee machine was out of order. Acoustics are awful when it's busy because of the tiling, but the detour is pretty much standard... More
