Situated in the heart of the town in a busy square this place is constantly busy with a wait for the popular tables in the sun. This was our first visit and we had a pleasant lunch. The food was nice without being mind blowing! We had the Italian salad, tuna and pepper salad and croquettes and it was very well presented. Prices are probably higher than average but the service was good.

So it's been a while since we were last here. The food is great and it's super popular, hence us arriving just before 8pm. It was already full as the waiter at the entrance told us. He helpfully found us 3 seats at the window counter, and sent a waiter over to take our drinks order until a table would be found for us. Over an hour and a half later, after much begging and arguing we were seated. There is only ONE waiter in charge of the waiting list and do not take the word of any other waiter until you have personally spoken to him. We will return again in the future to hopefully have a more enjoyable evening now that we know how to play to their rules.

Very busy restaurant with excellent food. Service a bit slow but understandable given that it was packed. Good choice of starters and main courses. As someone who does not eat meat it was good to see so many fish and seafood options. Reasonable price

We were looking for a place to have a really good tapas dinner and went here. We asked the waiter for tips but he wasn’t intetested at all so we just ended up ordering what we thought would be nice. Food was ok but not more than that. It’s noisy and full of passing persisting sales people.
The entire experience was definitely disappointing and we don’t recommend anyone to go here. The place has probably ridden on their reputation too long as their staff can’t be bothered.

The best thing about Spanish food and Spanish gastronomic habits is the concept of sharing a number of small dishes, in order to allow you to taste a variety of flavors and food ingredients, nowadays: tapas with a modern twist and based on multi-cultural flavors. This is exactly what Casa Colón has to offer in combination with a high quality standard of execution. We had been here for dinner twice before (the place was packed and we needed quite some patience to get a table) but today we went for an early lunch (at around 1:30 pm) and enjoyed a very relaxing and wonderful culinary experience. My wife and I shared the Flores de Calabacin, the Vietnamese Nems, the Foie Gras and the Carpaccio de Langostinos. Every single plate was a pure delight and the service was absolutely great. The extent of the variety of flavors, the quality of the ingredients and the quality of the chef's execution gave us much more pleasure than our dinner at Michelin starred JCG's restaurant in Málaga three weeks ago. In addition: prices are very reasonable for the quality you are getting.

During first course one of us said she is allergic to seafood. And when ordering main course waitress didn't point out that one of the meals included shrimps. Luckily no one died. Compensation was poor even the waitress was really very sorry. Food was good but feeling was down.

Great atmosphere in this smart restaurant which is situated in a popular square in downtown Fuengirola. They don’t take bookings so be prepared for a bit of a wait in busy periods – there are plenty of bars nearby for an aperitif! They have an extensive, mainly European menu but with some Asian influences and all served with a bit of Spanish flair. I loved the Burgos rice blood sausage with peppers. The staff were super friendly and efficient.

A cold night in January 2022. Only table available was at the bar which we accepted. Then waited 10 minutes for the menu and an offer of a drink? Served a good dish of prawns pil pil. Then managed to move to a table near to which the cleaning staff spent 15 minutes cleaning the nearby toilet in full view. Second dish was good of skewered chicken. Then took repeated efforts to ask for the bill, as every waiter passing completely ignored us. A lot of very fancy looking waiters but usual problem they just don’t pay attention. Some serious staff training is required here. Won’t go there again but will go to our usual directly next to it.

Waited 1,5 hours for a table and they can’t cook a steak if their life depended on it. I’ve posted a picture medium and medium rare. You guess which is which. 2 mains missing on the first serving. Absolutely wast of time and money

A very popular spot in Fuengirola and the food doesn't disappoint but it's not a wow experience in any way to be fair. Everything we were served was tasteful but they serve these traditional spanish courses as gambas pil pil, iberico, cheese platter and so on... It's hard to disappoint when the menu is like that, but nothing we ordered was spectacular in any way. This place is located on the very popular 'church square' where there are many nice places and the people here are not the typically tourists from GB who loves fried food if you know what I mean. Nice location, but the food doesn't stand out.

Nice place, good food, bad service. Not possible to get tempered vine. Got another food than I ordered. I felt like they threw the food on the table, and turned away before you could speak. Not recomended.

My twin brother Stephen and I found ourselves on Plaza De Los Chinorros on a roasting hot afternoon and as temperatures hit the 90's we decided to drop into Casa Colon ,a restaurant we always look forward to dropping into on any holiday we take to this sun drenched resort .
A great looking restaurant ,interior is superb ,a great looking serving bar ,wonderful decor and furnishings and lots of seating options both inside and outside looking out onto the beautiful Plaza De Los Chinorros.
We sat outside were we ordered bottles of beer from Cruzcampo ,served chilled ,we settled down ,soaked up the sun while we sipped our beers.
A big fan of this famous Spanish beer from Seville ,light and hoppy ,bursting with taste and just so easy to drink ,it was just so good enjoying a great beer in a great restaurant and sat with my twin brother Stephen ,best beer companion in the world .
We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
Casa Colon is easy to locate in Plaza De Los Chinorros.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday,midday till 11.30pm.
Well worth checking out if you're in the area .

You queue outside then are made to wait inside then after being seated wait ages for the food. Some of the food is really good - black pudding, brocolli in batter - but some other not so at all despite the price. Particularly surprising was the dry overcooked white fish. Something they labelled 'frites' were like thin dried nails and quite tasteless, if you can imagine. The wine by the glass recommended by the waiter was harsh and flat - both a red and a white. We would not risk going again, although you might be luckierer.

Casa Colon is cheating. Check is having food/drink which you have not ordered. Once they try to overcharge 60€=3 portions which we have not ordered. Today they add pan=bread. It is illegal in Spain to charge for bread if you they not asked if you want it
