This is so well known in Nerja. We usually stop for morning coffee and toast. Great view of the beach, and people passing by.

We had lunch here and of course had to have the paella. It was great watching it being prepared and even better to eat! It was very busy and rightly so. That makes for a nice buzzy atmosphere, You can go back for more if you can manage it which makes it great value. It is a must to visit... More

I love Ayo's Paella. I could eat it everyday. Always have it 3 or 4 times in a week when we are here. I love a cold beer with it. I never drink beer at home, but it's one of my favourite meals

For their paella. Might not be the most authentic but it's still seriously good. Perfect for lunch!!!

We came here for the paella, which was tasty enough, but not that great compared to others we tried in Malaga. The pros: very fresh prawns, and free refills of your plate (appreciated by my teenage son!)The cons: no other seafood present in the dish, but lots of chicken instead. It did however have a nice vibe, and was very... More

This is a very large and busy seafront restaurant but has a large number of hardworking staff so service is very efficient. There is a good feel to the place and the paella in particular is well worth trying. Ayo himself is still present which is nice to see

This place is Spain pasonified the man himself should be well retired enjoying some well earned rest, but instead he is there overseeing this amazing operation where he could serve at least 1000 people on a Sunday it's crazy but great just try it,even if you have to roam amongs the diners looking for someone to leave.

This is my favourite place when I go visit family in nerja. It's very very simple Spanish eating at its best. Not fancy , not too expensive and very tasty. It's always busy but the level of service doesn't demish . Same lads always seem to work here, they know what's there at and are very pleasant. Potatoes a Lo... More
