Even though Tarifa is pretty empty in the winter, this was one of the few places open when we came, and their offer was really nice. Our pizza was totally tasty in the home made style. Also the staff was super professional, our waiter was just an embodiment of a young gentleman always ready to fulfill all our orders.

We ate here on our last night in Tarifa and the food was wonderful! Real Italian. My kids had the pizza and it was great, they were enthusiastic (and they are hard to please!). Staff was courteous and service was timed perfectly. We really recommend this place!!

Despite being in Spain, La Trattoria was a big positive surprise. Real and tasty Italian food with a nice touch of fresh fish from the estrecho. From oven pizza to spaghetti scoglio everything was top notch I actually kept on returning every night for the whole stay in Tarifa. Some personal background: I am Italian living in the US and... This is an Italian gem on the Alameda, an area of Tarifa that is a nice, long cobble stone "plaza" or walk way at the beach end of the business district, right near the entrance to the harbor and ferry terminal. Find Momo, with his beautiful smile and full head of white hair. He cuts a handsome figure as he... More

ask for octopus, it was delicious, but all in all, everything we had was very good and very carefully prepared. Service was also exceptional and helpful.

TOP TIP - go through the arch at the top of the outer wall and follow the narrow lanes to find a paradise of small local restaurants who know how to offer good service and to cook Having read a few of the other reviews I find the score for this restaurant to be rather high and maybe we just... I was on holiday in Tarifa for 10 days but have lived in Italy for over 40 years. When one goes abroad one finds many Italian restaurants ..Too many sometimes. Now, I have to say that among all the countries I've visited, I've never found a pizza made so well ..Not even here in Milan or Rome. The pasta is... More

We came her for our last evening out in tarifa and It was lovely. We both had pizza which was very tasty followed by two desserts, one tiramisu and a chocolate soufflé both very nice. I recommend going!

Good italian restaurant with nice waiters but some knick knack.... I would avoid any kind of wines... And service is just ok, even if the waiters were nice with us. A bit expensive.

Food and service was outstanding. We came in from the Old City side and no one was eating so we were a little hesitant but we were taken to the outside section (New City side) and there were plenty of people dining. We couldn't have been happier with the meal.
