Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Having managed to stay in a bed & breakfast without the breakfast, I was delighted at finding this wonderful little cafe at Kings Lynn station. I just had a fried egg sandwich, two eggs with brown bread, but other breakfast fare was available at very reasonable prices. Such a nice change from the usual high priced franchises that you usually find.

While not advertised I was offered a breakfast at a price of £8. What quality and excellent value for money. All excellent quality items, free range egg, locally sourced bacon, a substantial sausage served with tinned tomatoes and brand name baked beans with bread and butter. Looking forward to my next visit to Kings Lynn Station.

Surely this is what station buffets ought to be. A bacon sandwich on my arrival and a comforting sausage sandwich on my departure, with the opportunity of buying drinks at the bar and a small takeaway bottle of wine for the journey across the wintry fenlands. All this with the friendliest of service. Don't change a thing!

This place is okay if you are in a real rush for a train. If you have time I suggest you pop onto Morrison’s garage shop just next door, their sandwiches and coffees are much cheaper The other thing about this cafe is they charge you if you have to pay by debit card. This is actually illegal,

This cafe always comes up trumps and is a pleasure to visit. The proprietors are so friendly and helpful. My family come to Kings Lynn to visit grandparents so it’s a holiday station for us, always feels like the cafe has kind of a sea-side air too. They’ve got shedloads of train/pre-train eatables, usually a dazzling array of magazines if you need something to keep everyone entertained on the long straight line back to London. They are open on a Sunday ( in my experience) and have a letter of appreciation from the queen pinned up next to the till! 👍

Oh how I wish all rail station food outlets were like this ! Cosy , warm and friendly ! Sold not only snacks , rolls , hot drinks etc but other bits n bobs too ! Such a nice experience - not only can you grab something if you are in a hurry but could relax in there after or before a journey . Like an olden days experience where things were pleasurable rather than a rushed culture ! Thank you !

The service is first class and there is always a warm welcome. I make sure I leave time before catching a train so I can have a cup of tea and a snack it is one of the highlights of the journey. Prices are reasonable and there is a good range of drinks, snacks, papers, magazines and breakfasts.

All our trips to London start right here. One of us gets the tickets the other gets the bacon butties and drinks. (£3 - butty, £1.50 -tea). Fabulous. Friendly service and consistent good quality. Great way to start a journey.

Called at this cafe this morning for a cup of tea before catching the train to London. Excellent tea and very friendly service. I left my handbag behind after finishing my tea, without even realising. As I sat on the train waiting for it to depart, the man who had served me boarded the train with my handbag, walking through the train to see who had left it behind. How thoughtful and what great customer service. My day would have been completely ruined otherwise.

Simply the best. I challenge anyone to find a more friendly cafe serving better food anywhere in the UK. Alan and his team are superlative hosts, never short of good humour and always happy to go the extra mile. The homemade food is delicious and varied, yet none of the basic commuter snacks are missing. Personally I find the filter coffee as good as you can get and the bacon rolls are a real treat if you have to get an early train. The only word of warning is don't listen to any of Alan's betting tips unless you have deep pockets...
