We visited by chance and are so glad we did. We had a really really good meal. The staff ( or the one member that seemed to be doing everything) was really friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Cornwall.

We stopped at the Maltsters for lunch whilst on holiday in the area. The pub is much bigger on the inside than it looks from that outside . We were met with a friendly greeting from the owner and barmaid. The menu was pretty standard pub food although a good selection which made my choice pretty difficult. The prices are... More

Lovely Cornish country pub set in an idyllic small village. Friendly welcome, good choice of beers and wines. Food was excellent. We started with a sharing platter of fine quality cold meats, olives, breads and hummus. Mrs Bailey had the lamb and I went for the Moules as a main; both meals were of great quality. Would definitely recommend this... More

We were recommended this place as it wasn't far away from where we were staying in the village. It's a quaint typical village pub with good beer and good food. My wife had cajan salmon which was very nice, but perhaps could have done with a little more spice. I had the fish pie which was very tasty. The service... More
