Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

So sad to hear that our favourite tea rooms has closed. Thank you to Suzy, Dave, Ryan and Teresa for being so friendly and welcoming to our family over the past few years. As mentioned by others your scones were simply the best and all...food, cakes and drinks so lovingly prepared. We were so glad to have been able to make one last visit during October. There was nowhere else we would have made a 180 mile round trip to visit for sure. Wishing you all the very best for the future.More

It is with huge regret that we will be saying goodbye to the Old Tea House at the of this month. It has been one of our favourite place to visit over 9 years. The homemade cakes and scones are some of best I have...ever had. The staff are lovely and friendly and being very dog friendly a huge plus. You will be very much missed.More

Stumbled on this lovely cafe a year ago and found it to be delightful. Lovely ambiance, excellent service and great food. A year later, identical experience. Perfect! Our ‘go to’ place when visiting Wadebridge from now on.

I’ve never tasted scones as fresh and as light as those served here. The atmosphere is so laid back and staff so friendly. I would definitely recommend a visit.

The food was very nice but we felt quite over priced for what we had unfortunately, compared to another place we went to with a £10 price difference which was also lovely. However staff were friendly and the tea room was very clean and tidy.

Fantastic find! Pot of tea with real loose leaf in china cups, none of this tea bag and thick pottery rubbish! Also cream teas and a lovely range of cakes, including a delicious banana-choc vegan one. Made my day 😁 Sue, Australia

Stumbled across this little gem of a tearoom whilst visiting Wadebridge on holiday. The food was lovely and the Salmon quiche was fantastic. The milkshakes were a massive hit with the kids. It was so good, we came back a couple of days later and...this time we managed to try the lovely scones. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helpful. We highly recommend visiting.More

Not only did we have a lovely breakfast, we came back for an afternoon tea to die for. Crab & prawn sandwiches, beautiful scones, jam & clotted cream. Cake to take home - orange / almond & lemon & blueberry. What a gorgeous place this...is. Lovely ladies looking after us & a good chef. Pleased to say a smiley downs syndrome boy was also helping in kitchen - so good to see. Suzi & co, you were the best. Everybody please rush to this gorgeous tearoom.More
