Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is the perfect space to rest a while. It is absolutely unique. A gem created in a garden offering peaceful rest and the most delicious food, including cornishl cream tea that is famous. The view across to Rock and the whole setting is fantastic....Hope to be back really soon.More

A gem of a place, top class cheese scones. Bit of a downpour when we got there and our taxi couldn’t come until 4pm. (We were out hiking). Martin ( owner) gave us a lift (more of joy ride) back to our accommodation. Very much...appreciated and couldn’t recommend this tea garden highly enough.More

I had the best coffee in England. The proprietor's son roasts the coffee, and that made all the difference. My husband ordered scones and tea and was also delighted with his food. We were the day's first customers, and the proprietor spent time chatting with...us. What a brilliant way to start the day! Stop in if you are walking the Coastal Path from Padstow towards Stepper Point. You will be happy you did.More

This was such welcome destination for our walk seaward from Padstow. A lovely little outdoor cafe serving good coffee and snacks through a serving hatch in their coastguards link house. An ideal stop of for hikers to Stepper point. A man and wife team full...of funny banter rounds off a lovely scenic walk! It’s a 'must visit' every time we come to Padstow. Being a private house there are no toilet facilities. Plenty of places for a discrete pee en route!More

It is approximately 2 miles along the coast path from Padstow. As you join the coast path near the war memorial you can see Hawkers Cove in the distance. If the tide is out, it is slightly quicker to walk across the beach.

Open from Easter to October. Outside seating only, so not usually very nice to sit out in the winter. Hope this helps.
