Terrible, overpriced beer. Place needs a really good clean. Bland music. Gambling machine in the corner. Overwhelming stink of stale cooking fat.

We stopped here for lunch on very busy Padstow day. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent. It is very conveniently placed for the harbour and our dogs wasmade most welcome. I'd be happy to visit her again.

The pub does need a spruce up to be honest but it does have a charm to it. At least the front door is shut against a chilly east wind unlike the old ship. Good chicken and leek pie. Well served with fresh new potatoes...More

HI, we only take bookings for parties of 8 or over, this is more of a walk in pub, if no table available while you have a drink we will get you the next available table.
