We recently ate here on a Sunday evening as a table of 5. On arrival, the atmosphere was really relaxed and we were made to feel really welcome with the staff laughing and joking with us from the start. We all had the mussels or...More

We dined as a walk-in table of three (2 adults and 1 child). The staff were very friendly, and despite being under obvious pressure, made us feel welcome and offered us a range of seating options, including dining in a small private bar, and a...More

Lovely food, well cooked and great flavour. Staff friendly, attentive without being overbearing and good with the children. So what’s the ‘but’? The mains were great, but incomplete and almost all, with exception of the steaks, needed a side. In my view, side dishes are...More

We were staying at the hotel so eat here a few times. I adore it if I’m honest. Staff are so friendly and knowledgeable, food is fantastic and the setting is relaxing yet top end. Highly recommend

The menu is quite different but something for everyone. I would recommend the fish though. The service was a bit slow but they were very busy. They were very friendly and helpful though.

Very relaxed evening, knowledgable staff. Dogs welcome and treated like little princesses/ princes!! Delicious food. I had the mussels from the starter menu as my main and the were possibly the best mussels I have ever had.

Cold plates, luke warm fish, tasteless thin sauce for my hake, and 2 of 4 steaks ordered were very disappointing. Very good fish soup which could have been hotter.

We had a very disappointing meal here. We were a party of 7 adults and 2 small children, so we were initially, pleased to be given a table in a really sweet little room by ourselves. However, we waited a very long time for our...More

Yes. The child at the table next to me that was nursery age got a box of crayons and a colouring book. I'd say that was very child friendly wouldn't you?
