Loved it in here. Enjoyed a number of their Seafood Tapa's, all of which were a very high standard. It's a small place so you are sat very close to the next door tables, so you do end up having a quick chat with your...More

I love this place...just to think that only two days ago my Wife & I were relaxing around all this wonderful top notch seafood. The ambience is fab, the food is a 10+ and it certainly lived up to what I’d read about it. I...More

The great reviews are certainly justified. The menu is easy to understand although there could be a challenge in working out what you want from such an attractive menu. The food is staggered and comes when it is ready which works really well. Be sure...More

the Padstow food scene is dominated by the larger than life persona of Rick Stein who owns several high end restaurants and stores in the town. Into this environment comes Prawn on the Lawn, an up market fishmonger that serves local fish both by weight...More

We have been in Padstow for the week enjoying excellent food, but this has been the best. We came for lunch and had tapas style dishes. It was hard to choose because they all sounded wonderful. We were very pleased with our choices: deep fried...More

Freshest seafood and nothing is too much trouble for the very welcoming staff. Casual dining at it's best! Recommended

We went here for lunch while having a day in Padstow. Book - very popular! Fantastic menu of fresh seafood and shellfish. Mix of whole lobster or crab, oysters, platters, fresh fish or small plates. We shared a few of the small plates, all of...More

Three of us shared the whole tapas menu preceded by a selection of cooked and fresh oysters. I can’t say how much we all enjoyed the whole range on offer. If I had to pick one that excels it would be the seared tuna, just...More

Although we’ve visited Padstow on many occasions since the restaurant has been open this was our very first visit here, possibly as we thought that shellfish was a big part of their menu & I’ve a bivalve mollusc allergy (scallops, mussels, etc) and my girlfriend...More

We had 8 of the starter/tapas dishes to share which were all very good. The crab stuffed courgette flower was exceptional. One waiter seemed to ignore us all evening but the rest were lovely. Highly recommend!

The food here was amazing. We went to Rick Stein's bistro the very next night and were disappointed because these guys set such a good standard. Smaller place, seating a bit cosy... but good fun.

I don’t know I’m afraid, being a customer who loves fish so it never arose with us. I should ring Prawn on the Lawn and ask.
