We popped into the Game Larder whilst on holiday in the area. There is not a huge range of products on sale and they are quite pricy but a nice shop. We bought some very good scotch eggs (GBP 2,50 each) and a couple of...More

Amazing value Sunday lunch in informal deli setting. Good well-cooked, wholesome local produce served simply with no fuss. Interesting variety of local produce for sale including excellent local bottled beers. A real find - would divert well of our route to go here.

Came in on then 25/07/18 and asked for a pulled pork bap, and was served with grace and composure. The food was excellent, if maybe a tad too expensive but no matter, and would definitely recommend to anyone else.
