Positioned right by The Cobb, we bought a portion of fish and chips which were lovely. Not too greasy and very reasonably priced. Short walk to sit on a bench to eat overlooking the harbour.

Probably the best fish and chips I've ever had ( I had white sit and hubby had cod), fresh, crisp and very well presented, loved it.

My infrequent trips to this favourite place commonly end with Fish and chips, eaten on the Cob. We have tried all the " on the beach " establishments and found all of them to be rather good; usually we seek ones offering an OAP special...More

This little shop is across the roundabout from the main Lyme Regis promenade, opposite the Royal Life Boat building. It's a real step up in quality from the other fish & chip vendors that operate from the static vans at the top of the promenade....More

This place sells lovely fresh fish and chips right near the harbour. There is a large variety of fish and seafood available and all cooked fresh to order. Great value as well.

We are frequent visitors to Lyme Regis and you cannot best fish n chips by the sea on a warm sunny day sitting on The Cobb eating it out of the box. We had the Senior Cod and Chips which was fresh, flaky and glistening...More

Following a beautiful stroll along the beach we stopped off at the Fisherman's Wife for a Fish &Chip supper. I asked if they would mind splitting one portion in half as my Son does not have a big appetite which they duly did without question....More

In Lyme at lunchtime we shared a fresh-caught and fresh-cooked meal. The whitebait was tasty and chips good. We couldn't have managed the serving alone, but just right shared!

When I ordered, I was puzzled to have been given a numbered ticket. When the chips arrived, I understood why – they are freshly made to order, not simply pulled out, ready-cooked from a fryer. They were hot, fresh and perfectly cooked. Seriously, some of...More

Hi Ron There’s no inside seating but there are a couple of benches outside. Alternatively there’s plenty of places to sit directly opposite on the Cobb. Hope this helps.
