Went early for Breakfast. Had the best blueberry pancakes I've had in the Uk. Will definitely be going back for more. What a fantastic find. Particularly liked the sign saying "No we don't have WIFI. Talk to each other ". Well said!

Thank you, that is so kind of you. We are proud of our pancakes and it's wonderful to hear how much you enjoyed them. As a small cafe we decided early on that the buzz of customers chatting to each other would be much nicer than a lot of silent tables tapping away at keyboards. It has been so good... More

This is a very popular cafe for both young and older generation. The seating area can become a bit cramped at busy times. We normally avoid school holidays here it can become a bit hectic. The food is always excellent we normally have lunch here we tend to have one of their flat breads which are always freshly cooked. As... More

Thank you. It's really good to hear you continue to enjoy your visits to the cafe. It can indeed get a little bit hectic at busy times, which is all part of the fun but as you have found there are still some quieter times for those who like a calmer atmosphere. Thank you again for your regular visits and... More

Popped in for a quick cup of tea in the afternoon and couldn't resist trying the food as it all sounded wonderful. As we weren't very hungry my friend and I shared a sandwich. There was a wonderful selection of interesting fillings to choose from. Even half a sandwich was plenty with the lovely garnish. We complemented the chef on... More

Thank you so much. It was lovely to meet you and it's great to hear how much you enjoyed your visit. Our garnishes are really popular and get almost as much attention as the sandwiches and flatbreads themselves. It was great to talk to you about them and we're really pleased you enjoyed them. Thank you once again for taking... More

Popped in for lunch today....WOW lovely. We tried the flatbreads (butternut squash , prosciutto & Brie/black pudding chorizo & pea purée) 😋😋😋 A relaxed friendly environment with food cooked in front of you! The menu had so many different things I'd like to try on it ....it was hard to pick ! The fresh flatbread dough is stretched and cooked... More

Based on Tripadvisor reviews popped into this cafe for lunch. My wife had the soup and sandwich for £6.95 which was very good value. The food being cooked in the same room whilst the host chats away with customers. There is a blackboard that lists what is not available and that seemed to fill up whilst we were there. Great... Thank you! We are so pleased you chose to visit us and even happier that you enjoyed yourselves so much. The blackboard does sometimes fill up quickly as lunch goes on. We prepare fresh daily batches of our dishes and as we don't just grab another one from the freezer, when it's gone it's gone! Thank you once again for... More

Thank you! Really pleased you enjoyed the soup. A little bit different we know but it went down a storm and we think the cheese scone works perfectly with it. Thank you again for taking the time to post such a lovely review and we hope to see you again soon. Steve and The Yellow Bicyclists. More

A real treat to find a cafe that doesn't churn out the run of the mill snacks and sandwiches. Our lunch was prepared whilst we waited and we could see the quality of the dishes that other patrons had ordered. Ate here last weekend. I had Mexican eggs and a monsoon malabar coffee. My partner had the mash up and a tea. The Mexican eggs were fabulous and I loved the corn bread they were served on. Thank you so much! It's fabulous to hear how much you enjoyed your breakfasts, both of which are extremely popular. We think the spinach works great with the mexican eggs, adding colour and a lovely balancing flavour. It's good to know you agree. Monsoon Malabar is one of favourite and most popular single estate coffees and we keep returning to... More
