The Alma Inn and Dining Rooms has been at the centre of Harwich life since the 1850s serving ale to the citizens, sailors, soldiers and farmers of the wind that passed through.We offer food seven days a week. We had two lobster fish platters to takeaway. Wow. Food was amazing, beautifully served and so fresh. So yummy. Can’t wait to come along and eat in the garden. Big thanks. And well done for all your hard work

Missed the Alma food so much since our brief lockdown relaxation last year. Quality takeaway yesterday with some superb seafood and a burger to die for. This might have to be a weekly thing....

So lovely to be back. Very careful measures in place to keep everyone safe. Lovely staff as always. Mulled cider and a super meal. Breakfast fab😎🎄🎅✌a joy.

Food served Midday till 10pm everyday. You don’t need to book but would recommend if your on a tight schedule . Nick

Plenty of ‘on street’ parking all around the area but payment required at the seafront by the Lifeboat Station.
