We stopped here for lunch on our way from Devon to Birmingham airport. The pub is a delight and well worth a small detour off the M5. The menu is great and their Traditional Doorstep sandwiches are lovely and tasty. They have a great selection of drinks, the staff are nice and friendly and thank goodness that there are pubs... We spent valentines evening at this wonderful place and couldn't have wished for anything better! The food, service, atmosphere was 5 star all the way, so a big thank you to all the staff, especially Ben the chef, for making a perfect Valentine's day for us!

I had Sunday lunch with some friends and although the pub is very traditional with a great selection of real ales and friendly, helpful bar staff we found the food of average quality and the food service a little lack lustre. The main course was OK but not exceptional and the puddings were good except the sticky toffee pudding which... More

I visit this pub once or twice a month for lunch, and although it has had its problems since Steve left a few years ago, it is definitely getting back on track now. It is a traditional pub with roaring fires and always a warm welcome from the staff who are friendly, attentive and professional. The new menu has something... More

A fondness for The Spot under the leadership of Steve made this our favourite pub in the area - by a country mile. Since Steve moved on to Cheltenham and later passed away they have gone through a number of management changes, not always successfully. Having said that they have managed to hold on to their underlying philosophy of being... More

I have never had a meal here, but pop in quite often for a drink while waiting for the bus. The pub is really traditional with a real fire, which is lovely in the winter. I have always found the staff and customers very friendly, and I usually end up chatting to somebody. I would certainly make this "my local"... More

Only had 20 mins popped in for quick pint, asked if they could a sandwich to take away. What a joy to slabs of inch thick white bloomer loaf with warm beef and onion which I eat on my wat back to Stroud. The beer was clear and fresh and I managed extra half before leaving

This is a very friendly pub with outstanding cuisine, near the centre of Dursley and within spitting distance of two car parks

Description
'The Old Spot Inn' is a traditional real ale pub located in Dursley on the gorgeous Cotswold Way. We like to think of it as a 365 day beer festival here with our 7 real ale pubs frequently changing, as well as the 3 still ciders we also have on offer. Hearty freshly made on site food is available 12pm-3pm Monday to Saturday and Roast Dinners from 12pm-4pm on Sundays.
