Set in secluded countryside this friendly pub is a delight and has good food on offer too. Lots of events put on to attract people and well worth a visit.

The chef was miserable and humourless, unfortunately there was only 3 vegetarian options, the pizza had just sold out, the chef was uncooperative stating that there was only Thai curry or ploughman's on the veggie menu, I asked him what ploughman's was available and was...More

I booked this for lunch at New Year and we were not disappointed. Eight of us had a good and filling meal with great beer, which was just the job after a clear and frosty walk.
