We popped in for a quick lunch. Never been there before, so didn't know what to expect. Well looked after, clean, welcoming pub/restaurant. Was a great british and nepalese menu available, my husband had gammon, eggs with chips and garden peas, I had a starter, chargrilled chicken pieces with cucumber, tomato, onion and coriander with spicy popadum (can't remember the... Visited the Roadmaker on a Monday evening. I had the Himilayan Lamb curry and my partner had the Himilayan chicken curry. The food was amazing, very tasty and the naan breads cooked perfectly. The staff were all very friendly and made us feel welcome. It was great to watch the chefs cook in the open kitchen. No complaints at all,... More

On the back of recommendation and recent good reviews we booked for my husbands birthday as he adores Indian cuisine .we have never written a bad review before but feel compelled to do so on this occasion. For starters we ordered chicken pakora and chicken tikka , the pakora was chicken nuggets in breadcrumbs and the tikka was chunks of... More

Called in for lunch, been here before, very friendly welcome, we were seated and the waiter arrived promptly, we both ordered the Vegetable soup to start, it was delicious, hot and spicy, just right for a cold day. My wife ordered Chefs Special Chicken, I had Prawn Curry both with half rice and chips. We both cleared our plates, it was... More

I have been going to The Roadmaker for over 5 years and have been on numerous occasions. The staff there always remember us and welcome us. The food is simply superb and we have never had an issue.

Third visit to this restaurant and is my favourite for this cuisine. The have a lovely sense of humour which added to our evening. The mixed starter is well worth going for. They have the best nan breads I have tasted anywhere which were the complimentary to the tasty food. I would suggest that you ask for your food to... More

Great choice of food, interesting flavours and very friendly staff. I went for a Chat Pat to start (chicken and salad in a spicy popadom cup) and Bhutuwa Chicken for the main course. Both were exceptional. Will be returning soon.
