The atmosphere has a genteel Nailsworth buzz about it There is a great menu, but we were also advised that they could prepare an alternative that was on sale in the shop, if we preferred. No need. Service is prompt, friendly and informative. The food when it arrived was delicious. We would definitely return.

I discovered this by accident as from the outside it is rather unassuming. I noticed candles in the window, which looked very cosy, so went to investigate. To my delight I had found a fishmongers and deli that becomes a gourmet seafood restaurant on Friday evenings. I was made extremely welcome and this was some of the best sea food... More

By accident we stumbled across this fabulous food hall in Nailsworth and found it had a fish restaurant at the back! What a find! The food was delicious - we had fresh oysters, scallops, skate wing and fish stew with chorizo -crunchy vegetables, all washed down with a good French wine. After we finished with coffee. We really enjoyed this... More

Fabulous deli with fish, seafood, salads etc. The restaurant, at the back, is quite small so it is best to book. Outside eating if the weather is ok. The fish soup is amazing as are the mussels. One small gripe only fish soups for starters but I asked for salad and chose a few from the Deli section, so not... More

Had lunch at Williams Oyster Bar Nailsworth for the first time. Rest assured it will not be the last. This is a lovely bustling restaurant, with the added delights of a superb delicatessen alongside offering fresh fish delivered daily, a large selection of cheeses, olives, and much more. The restaurant offers a good selection of primarily fish dishes, as you... More

Left it late for lunch as arrived at 2.15. Even then there was only 1 table free which is a good sign. I ordered the mackerel and my wife ordered the plaice gougons. Both were cooked and presenteervice was good and friendly. Considering the quality of the food on offer I felt the meals were very good value for money.... More

An understated Deli with very good food and service, ideal for lunch if you enjoy fresh fish/lobster/scallops, on a sunny day food is served outside and with a nice bottle of Rose it could not be better, furniture is basic but the food and staff make it a very pleasant experience, well worth a visit.

We were very lucky to find ourselves outside William's on a Friday evening when they had a table to offer us. I doubt this happens often so book ahead. The service is knowledgeable and friendly and the food is wonderful. In particular the scallop starter and the crab salad were exceptional. This restaurant is a bit different and well worth... More

My wife and I had what was, in the main, a pleasant lunch in this fish market-cum-deli-cum-oyster bar-cum-restaurant. The food hall had a very good selection of fresh fish and shellfish, the deli selection had some interesting cheeses, charcuterie and all the usual deli offerings from good quality suppliers. The food in the restaurant was a mixed bag of success... More
