Mountain's Farm Shop restaurant is celebrated for its exceptional breakfast and high-quality meats, providing a tantalizing experience for food enthusiasts. While vegan options may be less extensive, the dishes consistently receive praise for their taste. Patrons appreciate the welcoming and clean ambiance, which is further enhanced by the attentive and thoughtful service from the friendly staff. Although there are occasional remarks about portion sizes and vegetarian choices, the overall value and variety of food are highly regarded by many travelers.

On NewYears eve I celebrated my 75th birthday at Abbey Parks with a birthday lunch for family and friends. The food (as always) was superb and the service and attention to detail second to none. They went well beyond the call of duty to make it a special and memorable afternoon. Some of my friends haven't eaten there before but can't wait for a return visit. A special place staffed by special people. Thank you.

We have frequented this establishment several times now and have sampled about 75% of their varied menu every one being excellent in quantity, quality, presentation and flavour. The service is prompt welcoming and attentive and the Bistro environment is a warm country farm decor well thought out dinning split into four areas two indoor and two outdoor, and so able to accommodate most times of the year. Quality being fit for purpose at minimal cost and this establishment fits that criteria. We can highly recommend it and always a pleasure to visit and looking forward to many more meals there.

I Called in on New years eve whilst on my way back from Boston. What a little gem this place is. The fresh food and meat in the farm shop is delightful and the cafe is simply divine, a true credit to the friendly staff that serve this fabulous food. 100% worth a visit if you are in the area.

We stopped here purely by chance on our way to Boston one morning. There have been plenty of comments on how good the food is so I would prefer to talk more about the prices. I fully understand that some reviewers feel the Breakfast is more expensive than average but I feel it is very important to say that the quality of ingredients used here is far above the average products in an average cafe. Good quality ingredients are very expensive, the Licolnshire sausages were a really good and tasty porker and not a budget sausage typical in an average cafe. The same can be said of the bacon and eggs used to make up the breakfast as well as the general portion size of the "Full English". The presentation of the breakfast was very good and certainly looks very appetizing. I honestly feel that the prices charges when you consider the lovely surroundings, large portion size and quality of ingredients are very reasonable indeed when you consider the whole picture. We will certainly be back again. Thank you.

Thank you very much for you kind and realistic view on our prices and dining experience, It makes a change for someone to factor in all the different aspects on how a menu is put together. Best wishes

The food was good - if unexciting. Roasted potatoes, bread and meatballs for instance. The service was good and the surrounding were pretty. Between 4 of us, 7 small plates of food (about the size of a saucer) were put on the table. Dessert was churros. These were about 2 inches long and we got 2 each. For this, we paid £30 a head; £120 plus drinks. Had it been £15 a head, we would have returned. However, the food simply did not justify the cost for us.

We went to visit yesterday for a roast dinner, thinking it would be amazing as other meals get good reviews and we knew it would be good produce. But from start to finish it was terrible. The service wasn't great, it was like we were an inconvenience to them. The whole roast dinner was cold and bland and the Yorkshire pudding is the worst one I've ever seen or tasted in my life! We never got asked if we wanted any pudding like all the other tables and then stood waiting to pay for about 10 minutes being ignored - won't be back sadly! For £15 a meal I expected a lot more.

Having spoken to the staff about this it was quite clear on your intentions from the start. We tried our best but I'm afraid nothing was going to be good enough. 99% off our customers are more than happy and the Roast is one of the best for miles. Everything is sourced locally, made from fresh and is premium quality. The weekly Roast Beef is Sirloin that had been hanging on our onsite butchery for 4 weeks. The Yorkshire puddings are made and baked fresh every Sunday and the vegetables are sourced from the surrounding fields. It seems we just aren't the establishment that suits you. That is fine. All the best.

We have paid this establishment many visits and the standards of food excellence and service has always been of the highest standards, with presentation of food and quality and depth of taste being second to none. It provides for inside seating as well as covered and outside, with a play area for children and a farm shop with lovely locally sourced produce it's always a real pleasure to visit. Regards Mark and Sarah.

Visited for a rest on way to Chapel St Leonard’s so we decided to have. 2 Full English Breakfast’s which was really nice credit to the cook and especially the in house butcher Pot of Tea Hot Chocolate Glass of Coca Cola 2 Pieces of Cake to take away. Total £30+ Could only find 3 discrepancies which was minor but cost you a star 1) You wouldn’t cook mushrooms without butter. 2) All Tomatoes we had was the cork side (Pedical). 3) A tad expensive.

Stopped off here on way home from the Wolds. Had a really lovely breakfast, clearly local produce and dog friendly. Great service. Good selection. Outside they have a Boston Sausage van and lots of outside seating. Dedicated secure dog walking paddock Children’s play area. Also bought some meat from the butchers - top quality zero fat on the diced beef Pork fillet beautiful. Definitely worth a visit

Stopped off for a breakfast cob and some shopping. Lovely farm shop. Very clean and well set out. Got some beautiful meats and bits in the shop. Also had a breakfast cob sat outside. The inside restaurant was very popular and they were queueing but you could get served outside nearly straight away. Good job it wasn't raining. Well worth a stop.

We have come here occasionally for years to break our journey to Norfolk. The management seems to have changed and it has been expanded and now has little character. The restaurant is said to be vegetarian friendly but there are no vegan options. Eg even the all day breakfast does not offer vegetarian sausages There is also very little fish. Eg tuna salad/sandwich/baked potato. The toilets now have a code system to get into them and you have to ask a staff member if you want to go. This is inconvenient and a little unfriendly

Thank you for your review. The change of look is a result of a catastrophic fire we suffered last year when 90% of the building was destroyed. I am sorry the 'new look' has little character but we think we have done a lovely job. There is an option of vegetarian sausages on the all day breakfast menu so I am unsure why you were not offered this. We have 3 sandwiches on the menu, a vegetarian salad and regular fish dishes on the specials board. I agree it isn't ideal having a code for the toilet but it is unfortunately a necessity considering the amount of people abusing the situation. I hope you visit again soon. Best wishes

Abbey Parks has metamorphosed! Long has it been a favourite comfort stop of ours on our road trips, but this was our first visit in some time. Wow! It is much, much larger, with outdoor seating and food areas, and a huge deli counter. I felt quite disorientated at first. But the staff are still lovely and friendly and helpful and the food was delicious (best ever food that we have had there!). I had a full English breakfast and my husband had the rib of beef cooked overnight. The coffee was nice and strong and hot too. I can't recommend it enough and we look forward to our next visit!

If it were possible to rate this restaurant 10 stars they would deserve it! I took a group of forty members of our social group (Foresters Friendly Society) to the restaurant at Mountain’s Farm Shop in East Heckington today for a three course Christmas meal followed by a hot drink and mince pie. Scott (head chef) absolutely smashed it out of the park as the meal was delicious! Meghan and her team of front house staff were also fantastically attentive and organised with their service! Every single person left the restaurant feeling full and extremely happy. As an organiser of a large group booking Meghan was really easy to work with and made everything run so smoothly. I honestly cannot thank the team enough for this incredible afternoon!

We are now regular visitors and have enjoyed a huge variety of food from breakfasts to Christmas lunch. We have never been disappointed at the quality of the food and the skill with which it is prepared. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. We are looking forward to coming in the summer and eating in the large outdoor area!

We met with friends who visit this establishment regularly and it did not disappoint. We were shown to our table and our order taken. The food was provided within a reasonable time frame and was very tasty - I had the Fish Finger sandwich which was quite filling! The restaurant and facilities were lovely and clean. There is a little shop attached and a Deli Counter selling a variety of meats, pre prepared meals and cheeses.
