The restaurant was very busy on the night we were there, and the staff seemed a little overwhelmed. The food however was not too bad - one of us had venison steak with mash, red cabbage and mushrooms, while the other had tempura skate with...More

We were staying in Gairloch and decided to eat at the Old Inn having checked the menu on line. The atmosphere in the bar was lovely and the food was excellent. The service was superb throughout the entire evening, being both friendly and efficient. The...More

We lunched here. It was not busy. The Waitress pleasant enough, but the place looks / feels tired. An unremarkable Pub serving unremarkable food. Was hoping Scallops might be a bit special (given the location) - but they & the dish itself were disappointing. My...More

We ate one night whilst staying at the Old Inn. The restaurant is very basic and gloomy, whilst the bar area is busy and noisy. Pays your money and takes your choice. Food was very good though.

The Old Inn is a decent pub just opposite Gairloch Harbour at Charlestown. It is a pub in the traditional style and serves food as well as a good range of beers. We didn’t dine here, but I must say that the fish and chips...More
