Avoid this filthy dirty cafe with overpriced tasteless coffee , dough masquerading as scones and its dirge like loud reggae. The loos beggar belief. On 2 January it was the only place open.

Good coffee and very generous home baking. Staff pleasant and obviously a very green and environmentally friendly ethos. Good bookshop attached reflecting the environmental emphasis and a pleasant wee conservatory to sit in. Pretty basic toilets.

Ashleigh was superb host. Stay comes with breakfast. Our selection was home made scones (huge in size)/porridge/juice and caffe latte. Real delicious.
