Called in after walking 14 miles... hot, dry, tired. They sorted us out with well prepared food (including a request for something not on the menu) and cool drinks. Quick pleasant service. Served outside in a Shay spot by a water feature. Looks clean. Our...More

We've visited Berry's Coffee House and I've written a review each time. On this occasion we sat inside (the dog was allowed in) as the courtyard was packed - a very sunny day. The staff were different this time and the waitress was very slow...More

I'm so sorry that you were less than impressed with your recent visit. As you don't mention which day you are referring to I can't comment in detail, so I can only say that we do try very hard to do our best, but sometimes...More

Only visited for tea and scones but they were as good as we have ever had (even when visiting Devon and Cornwall) - nice light fruit scones , great jam and clotted cream. Whilst eating these scones we could see the quality of the food...More

Just took my friend for afternoon tea. Had delicious iced coffee and scones with jam and real fresh cream. (Cream was in a proper dish -not a horrible little plastic container on the side which you get in some places). We sat in the little...More

We visited for lunch on a hot day and sat in their courtyard. They have an excellent selection of food, using local ingredients where possible. They have gluten-free bread and can provide sandwiches, soups and cakes gluten-free. The local ham was amazing. Also very friendly...More

Good local food at a reasonable price, leaf tea no teabags here and a warm welcome in a quaint old fashioned coffee shop.

Had to wrestle with the umbrellas to get any shade - I put up 3 of the huge umbrellas myself (no one thanked me!) as staff had not thought to do this before the sun got really hot. Staff were on an extreme go slow...More

I'm so sorry you didn't get served in order when you visited us: we do do our best to do this, but sometimes things don't go quite as we would wish. So far as the umbrellas are concerned, we have learned from experience that many...More

What a gem of a place. We sat outside in the lovely courtyard. The food was delicious, the staff were helpful and the setting just right. The scones were just gorgeous. No complaints from us-nothing but compliments.

A perfect courtyard setting on a hot Summer day. The sound of water in the pond, bright flowers and a jolly atmosphere.

No but Church Stretton is a small village. If you park on a public car park you are a few minutes walk from the cafe.
