Had a great family meal. The food was tasty fresh and well cooked. Music was at a level that all could hear but not too loud. Staff very friendly and well mannered. Great atmosphere all round great visit. Will return again. Highly recommended a visit.

This is a typical English market town pub. It has a nice feel to it and we found it popular and busy. They sell Joules beer from the hand pump which was well kept and we enjoyed it. We then ate in the restaurant, which...More

I visit the area probably once a year and always enjoy this comfy relaxed traditional pub. The beers good and prices offer good value for money. An unpretentious pub unlike some others in Stretton. Wee worth a vivit.

Friendly traditional pub, good value, great beer, relaxed & comfy unpretentious atmosphere. Was always a good pub but the refurbishment has improved it from 4 to 5 star.
