Our meal on a Sunday was a mixture of relaxation and hearty food. No pressure to “process” us which often happens now. So we could both enjoy the atmosphere as well as the food. Would go again.

Two of us had dinner here on 4/10. It was simple and absolutely superb. Great service too. We went there because the Goodwood Hotel had given our table away!! Their loss and we’ll be back to the Royal Oak. David

We went for a celebration dinner. We experienced poor service, long delays in drinks being brought to the table, food was not seasoned well and portions could have been slightly bigger.
