We came here and were well pleased here. Didn't have to wait long as ferry was just departing. The fish was nice but the chips were amazing, we spoke to holiday makers from england, France and other Scots and through the discussion and they all told us the chips were amazing, so crispy & tasty!. Would thoroughly recommend this place!

Called in this afternoon 12/10/15 and were looking forward to fish and chips and even diverted 20 miles especially. Been here before and loved the standard of the fish especially. Not today though! Fish was so greasy we couldn`t eat it and were also way smaller than we are used to getting from here. Miserable portion of chips although they... More

Voted "best fish and chips" ....in 1980 (?!) Greasy and pricey. Ate outside on bench. They didn't have any ketchup when we were there for our fries.

Ordered 2 X fish and chips tonight (3.9.15) cost £13!!! Bones in the fish, chips tasted like frozen chips and batter under cooked. Ended up in the bin - don't even try it

Perfect fish and chips. We had to wait a few minutes as our fish and chips were freshly cooked. You can only eat outside so not good for bad weather. White flaky fish in a light crispy batter, nice chips. Half the price of the pub next door and exactly the same food.

Mid-evening, all pubs busy with barmeals so decided to 'eat out'.......Fish supper they call it, I call it fish n chips.......cracking food - very light batter, non greasy, lovely white fish and perfect crispy chips. And half the price of a barmeal, ha.

Stopped off here for lunch after returning from a boat trip. Had to wait in a queue as it was lunchtime , but orders were taken quickly. Prices were pretty standard for fish & chips, but 20p a sachet for sauce is a bit much. Have a wide range of fish based meals 'including on the day we went deep... More

Had fish and chips before getting the ferry across to Stornoway. Cooked fresh but very average for the price. Wouldn't rush back at all.

We had been looking forward to our visit to Ullapool and the Seaforth's famous chippy. Sadly they seem to be resting on some very old laurels (I think one of the Awards that they were touting was from 2004?). The somewhat sullen service produced eventually a piece of fish so skinny that it never had a chance of surviving the... More
