Something magical about Scarista, probably the combination of amazing location, great service and superb food. We had bisque langoustine, Aberdeen Angus beef and pear panacotta. Even the petit fours are perfect attention to detail. Outstanding in its field.

The night we were there the set menu was cullen skink, loin of venison and a cheese board that would not be out of place in France - but all the cheeses were from Scotland, and all the better for it. We had no room...More

Patricia has been helpful and patient throughout every enquiry, both over the phone and face to face. We stayed nearby so booked for dinner which was imaginative and extremely good, enjoying Harris gin as an aperitif. Husband very impressed by Scottish cheese board. Even though...More

Lovely house party atmosphere and fantastic food. We returned after staying here previously--we found a better place to stay but the food here is the thing. Service is terrific too.
