Stayed nearby. After reading reviews decided to have a drink Sunday morning. Lovely bar staff, very cheery and welcoming. Wanted a Sunday roast dinner which is only served from 12 till 2 but asked if they could save 2 for us until later that evening. No problem. Went back later and had the best roast dinner ever. Roast beef and... More

We chose the evening because they were holding a music festival event. This together with superb food special brew beers, very strong made for a very enjoyable evening. Recommend booking a taxi to fully enjoy the amenities when the festivals are held.

Wouldn't call it fancy but it would be out of place if it were. It was just good, homely food well done. Worth booking for Sunday lunch though - it... More

Needed an informal place to eat after a long drive and this typical welsh pub was close by and had some good reviews. Although on a minor B road, was easy enough to find. The car park is quite small around behind the pub. Welcome was good and food was on offer although we were only people eating. Unusual choice... More
