Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Peppers is one of our favorite restaurants for several reasons. The food is superb and the service is terrific. Mykala is my favorite waitress. She is high energy and has a wonderful personality. I always leave with a smile on my face after spending time...at one of her tables. The restaurant attracts wide array of clients and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Try Peppers for a top notch dining experience. You won’t be disappointed.More

We absolutely loved our meal here - the food was truly excellent! It was a quieter night with no live music when we went but I can imagine the atmosphere would have been amazing on one of their live music evenings! We started with sourdough...bread, balsamic dip and olives and they were all really tasty. The bread tasted really, really fresh. For mains we had chicken saffron and beef baked in a yoghurt, ginger and pepper sauce. Both dishes were absolutely delicious - the meat was so tender and the sauces were packed full of flavor. The highlight however was the desserts - chocolate fondant torte and a raspberry and hazelnut meringue gateaux. The combination of fresh raspberries and Chantilly cream alongside the hazelnut meringue was such a great way to finish off the meal...I think I'd walk back to Pembrokeshire for another bite!!! The staff were friendly and efficient and made the final night of our Welsh holiday a really lovely one! We'd definitely be back for more if we were in the area again.More

There is no doubt that the kitchen staff can cook, we were pleased with the cuisine. However, service could be friendlier and faster...we waited more than an hour between starter and main course, which is not acceptable, especially as there was no explanation for the...delay or apology. We didn't see the waiter who was concentrating on the main dining area...it was like we had been forgotten. Limited opening times, but potentially a great restaurant if waiting staff could show a bit more enthusiasm and attention.More

Lovely meal , short menu but for us that implies everything is homemade as stated. Bread , olives and balsamic dressing and King Prawns to start - both excellent. Polish Meatballs & Parmigiana special for mains - we tried both the garlic & cream potatoes...and Chips - the chips were double fried and cooked to perfection. The special dessert of hazelnut & raspberry meringue was pretty spectacular. Art on the walls , Jazz playing in the background , lovely food - perfect eveningMore

Lovely food and setting in a private room set by the bar. Menu was limited but what was on the menu was all top quality. Would recommend.

Absolutely fabulous evening with culinary extravagance. We visited Peppers with family and friends to celebrate our friend’s birthday. The olives with balsamic dip were excellent starters, the fish was superb, ratatouille was excellent and the lentil loaf with balsamic red wine sauce sealed the deal....Our refreshing Kumeu chardonnay experience was decorated by the owners Myles and David who shared exciting stories of life and music over a glass of red from backpacking to Buckingham Palace. All of this with the finest of jazz in the background. What an absolute treat! Thank you.More

The owner very kindly found us a table at the last minute and we are so glad that he did. We are real foodies and this art gallery and restaurant was a real find. The food was beautifully cooked and by far the best we’ve...had for a while. It is a family business and both Father and son were interesting and charming. It’s such a joy to find excellent cooking rather than pretentious second rate food. Thank youMore

Thankyou so much for a wonderful Saturday lunch - Chicken Saffron with Dauphonise Garlic Potatoes accompanied by a glass of delicious white wine. Highly Recommended. Will definitely be back if next in Fishguard- was worth making a special journey. This is set in a wine...merchants/art gallery. I bought a good bottle of white wine to take home with me from the wine merchant shop within the premises.More

A really sweet little place with nice home-style food and friendly staff. All food was great but especially impressed with the lentil loaf (sounds unimpressive but that balsamic and red wine sauce is really amazing) and vegan sticky toffee pudding for pud. Excellent, by far...the best place to eat in Fishguard!More

This is top quality food, cooked beautifully and it was quite honestly better than our engagement meal at the Ivy. The chef is obviously talented. We also ordered not-on-the-menu food for our toddlers and it was the most successful meal we’ve had with them. The...wine list is extensive. Service is prompt and courteous. We’ve had the same order before as a takeaway and it’s also excellent. We can’t recommend it highly enough.More

We ordered pan fried salmon, vegetables, dauphinois potatoes & chocolate & Guinness cake for pudding. This meal was sublime. Reheating in the microwave at home didn’t spoil the texture & taste. Thanks Miles & family. Best of luck for 2021. We’ll be back for more...dinners very soon.More

I’ve eaten in here and it’s always been really good, but that wasn’t possible this time because of the Covid restrictions. Fortunately they are doing takeaways which are really good. Great veggie options, the lentil loaf was so tasty that I had it twice, creamy...potatoes and really great chips. The carnivores were happy too! All ready for me to collect at the requested time, nicely packed and good value too. If you can’t get to dine in here then this is the next best thing.More
