Dog friendly cafe centre of town- I am from the sw of England and came across this gem of a place a year ago whilst in the area. This year again travelling through Wales I came out of my way to eat lunch here. Such...a friendly community focused cafe- lovely home cooked good at half the price of more expensive " foodie" type towns. Soak up the " llandrod" atmosphere in the herb garden!More

Herb Garden Cafe is a great place to stop for a drink or bite to eat while exploring the area. We had lunch after wandering around the lake. Staff are friendly and helpful and service was quick. Food is delicious too. The place had a...nice busy vibe to it with everyone enjoying themselves. Full marks for the baby changing facilities too, they provided wipes, a nappy bin and a changing mat on a chest high platform which was very welcome after my son was wet through! This cafe is located down a small arcade but has inside and outside seating so suitable for disabled people to visit, the coffee has a variety of choices, and the cakes are great, there is also a menu, and the staff are friendly.

Popped in for a gluten free breakfast and it was amazing! Everything tasted spot on and we will defiantly come back. Whole menu had GF options and it’s great to see, usually a struggle to find somewhere with such a huge choice. Keep up the...good work!More

We have now used this cafe a few times while visiting this town, all these visits since coming out of lock down. We have had a breakfast which was fair to good and was freshly cooked. We have also met up with friends for coffee...a few times and services is very good or you have to wait some time to be served. On our last visit ordered coffee and cakes, the service was very slow with customers who came in after us getting served before us. Price wise a little on expensive side for what you get.More

We stopped off for lunch and sat outside in a little covered area. It is dog friendly and a member of staff bought our dog a water bowl which was nice. We had jacket potatoes, toasted sandwich and a burger and all were very nice....The chips were particularly good. We didn’t have any cake but from what I saw they looked very good. Would definitely visit again.More
