This is the second time we have eaten at the Beaufort and were as happy this time as the last. Food was really good and at a very reasonable price. We turned up on a Friday evening and asked if they could seat ten of us and were surprised when the landlord said yes. Also happy that it is dog... More

This us a fantastic pub. The landlord also owns another pub in the village. This one is meant to attract the 'older clientele' while the other pub is aimed at a younger audience. Both pubs are great, staff are really friendly and the landlord is a real, gentleman.

The food was excellent with good sized portions and the serrvice was friendly and efficient. We had garlic bread to start with, followed by Thai fish cakes with chips and my partner had the lamb shank with vegetables, which was very tasty. Just what one needs after a day's walking and good value for money.

we arrived at 1.30 pm today, ordered food and drinks at the bar, waited 30 minutes before going to the bar to ask where our drinks were. Other diners were around asking about their meals, they'd been waiting more than an hour. After 80 minutes I informed the manageress that we were not waiting any longer. Appalling waste of time,... Happened across this pub by chance, the flower displays outside were very attractive. On entering the pub the bar part is very attractive with twinkling lights. The lay out is very comfortable with several little nooks and crannies. The lunch menu was very generous and we opted for the 2 course for 6.75, a good selection of choices and we... More

We called in for lunch partly enticed by the beautiful floral displays outside. It is a cosy pub which has a full menu lunchtime plus they do extremely good value fixed price 2- course menu which is really good value for money. The food was very good for the price and the staff were all friendly.

Went for a meal with family,2 of us ordered the same chicken dish and both had to be sent back as chicken was raw in the middle, when it returned (no apology)it was thoroughly cooked but it should have been the first time,no one else had any complaints but this did put me off myself

Spacious bar, well decorated and good layout of tables / seating. Looking in we would have said it was not dog freindly and were pleasantly surprised it was. Many places to eat with dogs are dumps! Very good menu choice in both dishes and size of meals. Reasonably prices. Staff very attentive and freindly. Bowl of water & biscuit for... More

Went as couple. This pub is central to town, easy free disabled parking, easy parking for all. The pub is traditional and well kept, flower baskets and pots adorned the outside. Once inside we had a warm welcome. Staff were courteous and smiling, very helpful and friendly. The seating were so comfortable, I could have stayed much longer. Tried the... More
