To be fair, my wife and I did not order the most interesting items on the night we visited. We both ordered green salads made from ingredients grown in the restaurant's own garden. It turned out to be cabbage and cucumber as well as a few other ingredients and it was good, made better because it was grown on premise.... More

Usually I'm not a vegetarian, but this time I saw these nice mixed salad which I wanted to try out after I had a nice steak at another place yesterday. Along with my salad I tried the risotto served within a pepper. It was delicious and I can absolutely recommend this place. Also my friends have been quite happy with... More

This place definitely did not live up to the raving reviews. The empanadas we ordered for starters were only ok (lots of dough; barely heated; definitely one of the worst we had during our trip). They asked specifically on how the steak for one of our main meals was to be cooked (we ordered medium-rare) and were served a very... More

I had dinner at Estepa and it was pretty good but unfortunately not quite as good as La Taperia. I had lamb as a main course which came with a shot of Campari and tomatoe which worked well as a flavour combination. The service was good and I got a table without a reservation. Happy enough to have gone but... More

Enjoyed good pizza after hiking all day and went back the next night to sample the other fare. Not disappointed. A little quieter than some other spots, though seemed popular enough.

I went trekking with some awesome guys, whose rock climbing guide suggested this place. I think I paid about $80 for 3 of us, which included a good bottle of wine, 3 good plates, and 2 desserts. The service was great. The food was great. And, I paid less than 1/2 what I would have in the States for the... More

We enjoyed a dinner at La Estepa. I had a salad with apples, kiwis and a delicious homemade sauce and a tenderloin with malbec sauce, carrot purée and potatoes au gratin. Everything was very tasty and carefully arranged. We would have returned to this great restaurant, but unfortunately we had to continue our trip the next morning....

Even the house red is delicious and cheap! Had dinner here after an 11 mile hike and left feeling full and happy.

We really wanted to enjoy this place. It has a great setting, a small wine store for sales off premises, and a good and fairly priced wine selection for your dinner. It wasn't very busy and yet getting service was a chore. I guess you really have to put yourself in the frame of mind of being in Argentina, a... More

By the time we'd eaten here, we'd had Argentinian lamb at any number of places, but this one really stood out. They are quietly confident of the cooking, and can therefore afford a location off the main strip. Attentive service and great wines.
