I can't speak for any other food, but this was a nice place to sit on a warm day and enjoy some (expensive) ice cream. They were spacing everyone out nicely so no one was on top of each other, had a view, and in the shade.

I came here for the third time. Just because it is my go-to-place whenever I am in Tunis. Yes, the view, the atmosphere, all great. No denying that. Especially in the evening hours right before sunset. That is when I would recommend to go. However, given that this is the place EVERYONE thinks of when coming to Tunisia, it is... More

Overpriced poor quality restaurant/café with a stunning view on the shore of Tunis. The service is not particularly good (don't go to the toilets for instance...) The food is indeed bad but extremely overpriced (exemple 25 dinars for a basic Tunisian salad!). The place however is a famous hotspot of Sidi Bou Said and you can still enjoy the amazing... More

Avoid the place if you can. Everything is better elsewhere, except the view from the terrace. If you order normal tea you get (expensive) tea with rotten pine seeds and the waiters are trying to sell you even more things like cookies. The normal price for a tea is around 1 Dinar, they charge you 4 or even 6 Dinars.

Don't miss the view! But avoid coffee, cappucino and everything related to "home made drinks". Water and juices are ok, but overrated.

It's unfortunate that cafes overlooking the sea in this part of the city don't put the least effort in making the place decent to visit.. the cafe has very basic wooden seats crammed beside each other so you barely ever get a sense of privacy. Waiters are in a pathetic state with dirty attire and the drinks come almost wet... More

Great view, have been there a few times with visitors.. But just too expensive for what it is... Coffee and drinks are ok, but the food is not worth it

Popular all day, but especially for sunset; ideal for drinks; I love the local mint tea with pine tree seeds(the aux pignons).
