I can't believe alot of folks on here arent raving about this place. We came here in October and came back last month! They stayed open late just for us. Its only about a 15 min drive from the City of Arkadelphia. It was incredible as always! Best smoked sausage I've ever had. Philip also got his potato again!

Yet another stop on our motorcycle trip. We were told by the hostess at our campsite about it. She said this place is a must! And we are glad that she told us about it. One of our riders got the Loaded potato because he wanted something smaller... Look at the pic and youll see that it was anything but... More

OH my gosh, this is a great family run little whole in the wall on the main drag in Gurdon AR. It has great catfish, fried chicken, burgers, fired pies, and daily specials. The day I was there the special was chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, Mac and chees and a roll for $6.89. Don't miss a... More

This is a great place to eat. The BBQ is excellent. Plenty of food on the plate you won't leave hungry. The waitresses were very nice. They talked with us like we were old friends. That's why I like eating in small town restaurants rather than big city chain restaurants. Way better food and atmosphere. Try this place you won't... More

If you're not a local, get carry-out. The staff is impersonal and disregards you if you're not a regular. Food was very good but the service was severely lacking at this location. There is some local gossip about the owner's competitive nature and antics if you get a chance to hear it. I found it explained a lot of what... More

They have a small hamburger and large hamburger. I ordered the small and a side of homemade onion rings. Homemade onion rings are hard to find anywhere. Food was cooked perfectly. On a prior visit, I ordered a fresh charcoaled ribeye, baked potato, and salad and it was very good.

Juicy ribs, fat BBQ sandwiches, and mouthwatering sides. This is what BBQ should be !! I think ribeye steaks are offered on Saturday night...have yet gotten there to try those, but looking forward to the experience.

Stopped in for lunch, BBQ was great, sauce was good, soda had to much carbonation, lemonade was more like sugerade. But I would return.

Gurdon is a small town of about 3000 people and there are not a lot of places to eat here, but Allen's Barbecue is one of the better choices. It was recommended to my sister and myself and we decided to try it out. It's located on US 67, just about a block from where you turn on Highway 53... More

We were looking for place to eat a late lunch in Gurdon and a local who has lived in the area for quite some time, referred us to Allen's BarBQue & Grill. And we are so glad that she did. Even though the place looks small from the outside, it has two dining areas which I believe could seat up... More
