Domaine Gayda exceeded all of our (already very high) expectations with it's faultless delivery of refined dishes, carefully considered wines to compliment our meal and professional staff with a vast knowledge of the Languedoc region and it's gastronomic heritage. What a memorable experience! Looking forward to coming back to celebrate my birthday at Domaine Gayda with friends, the views over... More

Special occasions or an extravagant lunch, fine dining with wonderful views from the large windows. Gayda is always a treat, always full of atmosphere and anticipation as to the delights you are likely to be served with - decorative dainty treats, savorous main courses, inspiring desserts.

It's not easy to find a Sunday evening meal around Limoux. Domaine Gayda provides a set meal, served in quite a formal restaurant with a stunning panoramic view of hillsides and vineyards. It's well worth getting there early enough to enjoy this from their terrace. We enjoyed the food and specially enjoyed the accompanying wines (a glass of each of... More

If I was to review the food and wine it would be 5 stars but this was to be a special meal for 14 of us to celebrate my "special birthday". I had two meetings with the events organiser beforehand to agree menus, seating arrangements and menu cards etc. We agreed a unique menu, two choices for each course, and... More

We've been here four times now, three lunches and one evening and each time the standard has been very high and such amazing value for beautiful food and wines. It is a special place to admire the views over the vineyards and eat high quality food. If I had a minor niggle (and not enough not to give it 5... More

Initially this restaurant with its panoramic views reminded me of the bright attractiveness typical of wineries in Australia's Barossa Valley and the Adelaide Hills. This impression, though, was quickly reversed by the cold arrogance of the service. Back at d'Arry's Verandah in South Australia, diners were invited to try the wines first of all in the wine tasting area, something... More

Visited with family for wine tasting & then revisited in the evening to eat. Beautiful panoramic views from the restaurant; serving excellent view. We'll be back again next year. Big thanks to Veronica for the wine-tasting; made the evenings choice 'a little' easier!

We enjoyed a tasting of ten of their excellent wines before having lunch in their restaurant, with its spectacular views over the Pyrenees. The weather closed in while we were there and we enjoyed a tumultuous thunder storm which added to the spectacle. The meal was superb, with quietly efficient service.

I can only think the head chef is trying out full menu recipes, but this three-course lunch option Wednesday to Friday is a no brainer. Menu changes each week - between the two of us we had both starter, main and dessert options - all were good although some needed refining to really be top.

We visit this area every year and try and get to this restaurant. We are never disappointed. The location is superb. The food outstanding. The service and atmosphere brilliant. And not overly expensive. We were slightly worried that the change of chef and staff since our last visit might have had an effect on the quality of the overall experience.... More
