I have eaten at many Mexican restaurants and on a recent trip through Hope this is without a doubt one of the best. I actually didn't want to go too heavy so I ordered a platter that I can't remember the name of but it had a chicken breast with a cream frieche sauce with charro beans and steamed veggies.... More

Amigo Juan's cafe serves up Tex-Mex food in generous portions that will leave you satisfied. It's not gourmet food, but it is good, healthy and and fun! The service is perhaps better than average. Hope has a few exceptional Tex-Mex restaurants. They're all good, so if you are in town for a while you may want to try the others... More

Always a place for good Tex-Mex but it always would have been better with a beer or Margarita so most nights I would just order take out. But, now they have a liquor license & a perfect frozen Margarita. You can bet I'll be coming more often. If you like salsa verde don't miss there's!

We stopped in here for dinner late one night and the staff was all very nice. Our group all had the Quesadillas and queso, the food was hot and very good.

We love this family owned restaurant! Good food and the best salsa around! Staff is really friendly. Amigo Juan's also caters!

Stopped here for a late Sunday lunch while traveling. The decor is bright and happy. Our waitress was timely, helpful and efficient. Individual salsa bowls made eating with others no problem. Chips were fresh. I had the chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce. Another had chicken fajitas. Both were great. If you are in the area, stop in for a... More

Good service, clean restaurant, reasonable prices but food was generally bland. The chicken in my fajitas was good, but the veggies were mushy and tasteless. The guacamole was canned and my wife's salad was a tad wilted. Bottom line, is probably better than average for small town Arkansas - place was packed with locals for Sunday lunch, but doesn't stack... More

We have eaten here a few times and each time is very good. The service is quick, the food is good and the atmosphere is very cute. We try to stop when driving thru Hope. Last time we ordered the flautas as an appetizer and they were very good and they came with some of the best queso we have... More

Overall, a good place to eat. Service is pretty good, food is better than average. They do have a little trouble handling the lunch rush. Very clean, well kept.
