Three of us went to the 4 Sisters restaurant. It is a bit pricey and certainly touristy. The staff was very nice and the service fantastic. We all opted not to get the buffet which did look good. Two of us got local food and one got a burger. Sadly the friend who had the burger ended up getting sick... More

We came here on our first night in Ethiopia and although it is a very touristy restaurant and expensive in comparison to other places in Ethiopia it was worth it. very tasty food and they gave great descriptions of standard Ethiopian food (which came in handy later in our trip!)

With the help of the Bradt Guide to Ethiopia we stopped at the 4 Sisters whilst touring northern Ethiopia's historical circuit of castles and churches. The local food is worth a try and I thoroughly enjoy the complex spiciness of the meals. The injera are pancakes made from fermented tef and have a sour taste so be prepared. I could... More

Indeed, this is a great place. Beautiful, quiet, clean. Abundant with tourists who otherwise are quite reluctant to taste the local food and beverages. However, despite of the welcome ceremony, the wall and ceiling paintings and the the way the staff dresses, this is not an 'authentic' experience. If you're looking for local experience and food, avoid.

Nice food ,nice staff overall very happy. They have lots of local and international customers so that is always a good sign. They have a nice buffet. The food is fresh and very tasty. They also help the local community which is great

Right off the trek and we were off in search of a hearty meal. We visited based on the stellar recommendations on trip advisor. We were early for dinner and the well appointed restaurant was quiet but it sprang to life when we entered. One member of the staff commenced the roasting of coffee beans over a small charcoal stove,... More

We went for dinner to Four Sisters restaurant and visited several restaurants in Ethiopia before. This place was the best we have been eating in this country! We were surprised from the starter to the dessert...delicous food, clean restaurant, high quality in hosting, friendly waitresses. In the end it was a perfect dinner with a Western European standart. Greetings from... More

Great food from this restaurant. There is both buffet and a la carte with a large and inexpensive selection of Ethiopian food.
