Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

More than once a time I come here and mostly with my clients as I am a tour guide and need to share the experience of how the local food is. Well, my clients love it as I do. One thing to improve is the...place as it's always crowded so it needs space bigger.More

I tried the branch, a traditional waroong with tasty soto. The best Banjar Soto in Balikpapan. The chicken satay however is average. The ambience is simple seating and traditional style waroong.

Its another variety of Indonesia's Soto. The brorth is very light, tasty. They served with rice or rice cake. The most interesting is they put casava to make the broth thick.. Price is affordable. Love to come back again

I categorized this as street food. Small store in the busy street and no aircon..so prepare to sweat a bit. Its simple, unique but truly delicious, two thumbs up. No need to ad too much things in the soto soup. Just a squeeze of lime....The soto is already a bit spicy. Unique bcs it has duck egg and casava inside..but again perfect combination. The chicken sate is okay... You can have the soto with rice or rice cake...More

My favourite soto banjar in Balikpapan. It's not a fancy restaurant, but the food taste is awesome. Combine soto banjar with chicken satay. They have authentique flavour that makes you go back and forth here.

I was looking for Queen Sidewalk eatery and was greeted with KUIN instead. A dish of Chicken Soto and Satay awaits. The Hot Soto was well seasoned, filled with thick chiken chunks and tasty sliced boiled duck egg...very good to clear up your throat. The...satay is served with delicious coarse peanut sauce. A nite treat I dont mind doing again once back in townMore

It's a small but clean warung just at the side of the street. The soto is fresh and tasty (balanced, not too salty). A very recommended place if you bored with the seafood restaurant ;) I also love the ice tea, it has a hint...of vanilla flavour. Ps. Beware of the sambal though... Very very spicy :pMore

The soto is great, but the satay is the best. The satay covered with almost similar with padang sauce. The taste is great and it is an Indonesian authentic food

This Soto Banjar tasted nice on every condiment and dressing, little big portion for diet woman like me, hehe, but overall is very nice You may order the soto separate from rice or lontong and don't forget to order its satay too, yummy, almost flawless...But for car parking area little bit difficultMore
