We've been there 3 times in a row now and had the best food we've had on myanmar so far. Especially the mango Lassis are like heaven. We also tried the tomato peanut curry, pumpkin curry, tomato and carrot salad and banana spring rolls and loved everything! So many good choices and all vegetarian, I'd definitely recommend it! The family... More

Great food, well worth a visit. Personally I think The Moon, opposite, offers more in terms of atmosphere and variety but you will also be very happy with this place.

This tiny little family run shack restaurant is the best food we ate in Myanmar! All vegetarian and all mouth-wateringly delicious. We went back twice in 3 days and ate our way through most of the menu. Every dish was amazing - like Michelin star amazing and all cooked by one incredible woman. It's quiet but very authentic and so cheap.... More

This is a small family run veggie restaurant opposite the Moon. It seems to have a similar menu but doesn't have the atmosphere that the Moon does. Also, I felt it wasn't as hygienic as I'd like. I just had a drink here and decided to go to the Moon for meals.

Friendly, family-run restaurant catering to foreign tourists. I tried the guacamole and poppadums since the staff told me that they were the most popular menu item. The guacamole was tasty, though a little too much lime for my taste. The bean curd curry was interesting too -- the tofu was made from chickpea flour instead of soybeans. Worth trying.

Located across the road from The Moon, this is a decent vegetarian restaurant. Their menu is pretty close to Moon's and the food we ordered was good, but not as good as Moon's. It's run by a family and is a little quiet compared to Moon, but the women who runs the restaurant is friendly and accommodating.

I was there for lunch. Their meals are quite good. Staffs can speak English well and helpful and entertaining. Their homemade yorgurt was under my expectation.

This was a fabulous restaurant with excellent menu choices, great drinks and great, clean atmosphere. All of the lunch entrees were fabulous with fresh ingredients and all organic. Everything from the lovely gardens, to the outside decor and the bathrooms was well thought out and executed. We ate here on our last day in Bagan. Had it been our first... More
