We decided to treat ourselves for Christmas Dinner at the Copper. We had a lovely afternoon with great food, good service & lovely Christmas atmosphere. We enjoyed a six coarse meal with nice relaxing breaks between corses. Thank you to the chefs & staff for...a lovely day.More

It started with a lovely warm welcome with a glass of fizz. Beautifully decorated and nicely laid out tables. The 6 course Christmas Dinner was absolutely gorgeous and was done so proficiently. Each course was delicious and perfectly sized portions, with a nice break in...between. Would definitely recommend if you want a stress free Christmas day feast. Thank you!More

Went for a pre Christmas family get together and enjoyed the Festive 3 course menu. We were a party of 6 and we were all impressed with the quality and value of the food. The staff were friendly and very efficient and were attentive without...being intrusive. Three courses plus coffee and mini mince pies for under £30 was excellent value and would definitely recommend. The decor was stylish and well maintained, we'll be back to try the regular menu!More

As regular visitors to The Copper Horse we were disappointed with our recent experience for Sunday lunch. As a party of 12 we had preordered our meals and though the restaurant was not busy the service was very slow. A couple at a nearby table...complained their main course was cold so we assumed the kitchen would have been informed and our expectation was ours would be served piping hot. Sadly this was not the case for a number of our party and were returned to the kitchen for reheating. The two young wait staff were very good but should not be put in such a position, this is a management responsibility. From previous reviews cold food appears to be an issue and the kitchen needs to address this as a matter of urgency. Certainly our experience on this occasion was definitely not up to the usual standard we expect.More

Was met at the door and shown to our table. The decor is lovely and the Christmas decorations are beautiful and tasteful. Ordered drinks which arrived promptly by Lucy. We ordered food then. All arrived piping hot served by Lucy and Helen. Plenty of veg...and was asked if wanted more gravy and any accompanying sauces. Enjoyed by everyone then ordered desserts. Very nice indeed. Could tell instantly they are made on the premises. Saw some cocktails been made so ordered the new 3 mini ones they are doing. Very good value.More
