Rude owner, waved her arm and said no! Without an explanation! Even though tables were empty. Will never go there again. Bad memories!!

Popped into this tearoom today for a bit of lunch with a friend and was so glad we did! Such a lovely find! Friendly atmosphere with delicious food, will definitely be returning as I am moving into the area. Cannot recommend this quirky little place...enough!More
Food just as bad as the customer service. Food arrived cold and questionably cooker, raised issue with manager who showed no concern. Do not go here.
Fantastic afternoon tea! The tiered trays were filled with homemade sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones cream and jam and cakes. We all had a teapot each which was refilled as many times as you want. We were comfortable and service was great and friendly. Highly recommend
What a rude member of staff!! Went in to order a coffee, either sit in or take away. Member of staff was serving someone so I politely waited. She stopped serving and ask what I wanted. I stated just a coffee but was rudely met...with they are too busy. Just 9 customers in the shop! Read other reviews here and the theme is clear. Rude staff and zero customer service. Walked our without my coffee followed by a poor review! In this day and age, I am surprised businesses get this so wrong. Customer service is king and if you want to stay in business, employ better staff!!More
Really lovely! Ladies greeted us warmly. Table wasn't quite ready as people were just leaving on our arrival. My mum struggles with walking and the ladies happily arranged a seat whilst they got the table sorted for us. We ordered Cream Teas, which was lovely....Very attentive ladies. I'm confused by other reviews saying staff were rude. I found staff very polite and kind.More
Met by a very rude women, who was just as rude the day before when she locked the door before entering but I returned to give another chance, only to be treated the same way. The place was busy and they seemed very stressed to...be fair, the lower area is flooded and has been for quite a while, someone out there can help these people resolve it. Maybe this review would help before they lose any more customers. I only wanted to buy some Antiques which took my fancy, maybe they can afford no sales.More
Last minute booking but we secured a table. The staff are very polite but not intrusive. The drinks were all excellent. The bakewell, lemon & ginger & choc orange cakes were excellent, the fruitcake & Millionaire’s shortbread less so. There is so much to choose...from when it comes to trinkets & antiques, you’ll find something for sure. The function room is lovely.More
Had a terrible experience. Incredibly rude staff and unbelievably overpriced food. I will be going out of my way to tell as many people as I can, never to step foot into this place. Completely ruined our afternoon meet up with friends.
Celebrated a 50th with afternoon tea. Service excellent, could not do enough for us. Would definitely recommend. Fab crockery and browsing the little treasures for sale.
Booked an afternoon tea for a friend’s birthday. The food was excellent. Well filled tasty sandwiches. Fresh still slightly warm scones and delicious cake. Real tea in a big pot. Very nice and very good value will definitely be back .
Do not go here, horrible food and even worse staff, cannot believe how badly treated we were. Food came out cold and frankly inedible, asked if we could have a fresh batch and were not told that they couldn't see what the problem was and...that we needed to pay and leave.More
Useless, terrible food and rude staff. The food we ordered took a ridiculously long time to be bought out, even after asking the staff multiple times where our food was and if there was a problem, this did not seem to do anything. We found...the staff very rude and the manger quit disrespectful. Shocked at how a small business like this can operate. Will be making sure I let as many people that I can in the local area, to never enter this place Words cannot describe how upset I was after my visit. 0/10 from me and my family ChrisMore
My daughter arranged for my mum and myself to have an afternoon tea at this lovely little cafe. The sandwiches, cakes and scones were delicious. The staff were friendly and very accommodating and kindly provided for my daughter being vegetarian and me being ‘dairy free’.
So disappointing- very long wait at thr door for anyone to speak to us, even though we were being looked at but no welcome, no sit down or any kind of welcome. When I finally asked of we can sit down, it took 20mins for...anyone to serve us. This after I went up to the till asked how do I order. Then drink and crisps brought for my son - my tea never arrived until good half hour later I asked whee it was. Then - when I thought my order would have been made by then - I was told they run out of bread. Disappointing. When paying (and I shouldn't have as it was not a nice toasted sandwich and I only had some), I was asked if I enjoyed it! Really? We went there to find afternoon tea venue for family birthday- I will certainly not be going back there. So disappointing, will not be going back there again.More
