Just home from a family lunch to celebrate a sister’s visit from America. We were a large group - 19 - and were looked after extremely well - really impressive as the pub was really busy. Service was great - no hanging around - food...was delicious, and all of the staff were truly friendly and helpful. Many thanks to all.More

Great roast lunch, it’s very popular and we can see why. Good service and the restaurant was well run by Danielle who was so helpful and friendly.

Four of us went to The Bull for Sunday Lunch. I must say that I was impressed with our various waitresses. They were all hard-working, polite and efficient and it was busy. Three out of the four of us thoroughly enjoyed lunch. I found it...ok, but nothing special. Starter size was small for £9.50. Main was a good-sized portion. Desserts quite small. Although the food was presented nicely, for me there was just something about my starter & main that I did not enjoy. Cannot really put my finger on it, but neither of these first two courses went down well and I felt sick afterwards. Let mew make it clear, the food was fresh and definitely not off - but it laid on me and wasn't the best taste I'd experienced. Would we go again? I think the three others probably would, but personally I would not. Well done to the waitresses though.More

Had wonderful Sunday Roast today. Hot fresh and delicious would definitely recommend. Would advise to book in advance.

Popped in for a cheeky drink and was happy to see some craft beers on tap which were delicious! Didn’t try the food but their menu looked great. Staff very friendly and attentive

Had a fabulous Sunday lunch here yesterday. Took some friends who had not been there for a long time. We had the haddock and chips which was delicious. Our friends had chicken pie and Poached Salmon, both were apparently delicious. Only two for desserts and...they did not disappoint. Both had the fruit crumble I had custard and Pat had ice cream with hers. One of the best crumble I have had. Great value and wonderful atmosphere. Thank you Danielle for organising everything including the table. Service was great. Will return very shortly xMore

Visited here last year and was not disappointed, due to go again at Christmas but due to one persons health problem at the time we had to cancel, visited again on 22nd, and if possible it was even better than our last meal there, the...pub and restaurant were very busy, so a little bit of a wait for the main course, but that was not a problem, food was hot and the portions were great, and the ice cream desserts were large and wonderful, going back again, great value for the money too.More

This place is lovely! The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is great! The food is amazing! And I would much rather go here than the vic!!

Have been here on numerous occasions / lovely pub with good food - but it’s always so cold inside / today it was warmer outside in the beer garden than inside - not good. My Mum and Dad won’t come with us as it’s so...cold - please turn the heater on - we were so miserable and left before ordering desertMore
